Since the start of this year, the green transformation of China’s industrial system has accelerated across the board. In the first half of the year, the value-added of equipment manufacturing rose by 6.5% year-on-year, accounting for 32.3% of the value-added of industrial enterprises above designated size and contributing 53.9% to their total growth, reflecting continuous optimization of economic structure. Jiangsu launched over 200 energy-saving technological transformation projects and 100 key major projects in H1, achieving energy savings exceeding 3 million tons of standard coal, driving industrial upgrading and substantially boosting green supply capacity.
Accelerated Construction of Charging Piles
Liquid-cooled high-power charging enables a 100km driving range after just 3–5 minutes of charging This year, China has rolled out a series of key policies to expand the charging infrastructure system with wider coverage, denser layouts and more diversified product categories. By the end of H1, China’s total charging infrastructure installations reached 6.652 million, a year-on-year increase of 69.8%. Among them, public charging facilities hit 2.149 million (+40.6% YoY), while private charging facilities stood at 4.503 million (+88.4% YoY). Charging piles are expanding into uncovered areas with an increasingly dense network of charging service outlets. In Jiangsu, integrated solar-storage-charging microgrids further cut carbon emissions for charging services.
After long-term trial production and testing, Far East Cable Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Far East Smart Energy Co., Ltd. (Far East Co., Ltd., Stock Code: 600869), has independently developed liquid-cooled high-power charging cables and obtained China’s first domestic product certification certificate for liquid-cooled charging pile cables issued by TÜV Rheinland. This liquid-cooled cable conducts electricity while dissipating heat via coolant, boosting power capacity by more than 3 times compared with traditional cables and greatly improving current-carrying capacity, while cutting weight by over 50%. It enables a 100km ultra-long driving range with only 3–5 minutes of charging.

At present, China’s wind power installed capacity has multiplied five times compared with 2012, and wind power generation has risen by 6.7 percentage points. Meanwhile, output of Chinese photovoltaic cells and wind turbines maintained strong growth, and industrial green transformation has become a new driving force for high-quality economic development.
